This is an innovative and exciting collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.  I’ll be curating three concerts throughout the 2015-2016 season featuring members of the Chamber Orchestra in collaborative performances with other exceptional musicians from throughout Philadelphia’s diverse music community.  The concerts will take place upstairs at the World Cafe Live and you can find out more information about this series and purchase tickets here.

The Prospects –

This is my band….

Joe DiVita – Bass, Vocals, Percussion

Dave Perrin – Drums, Keyboards

Krista Umile – Cello, Keyboard, Vocals

Joe Vasile – Guitars

I’ve had the good fortune of performing with these phenomenal musicians for the last five years and I feel extremely blessed to share the stage with them whenever we get the opportunity to do so.

Here’s us performing the song “Mindgames” off of my 2008 release “Motherpearl & Dynamite”

The Azrael Quartet –

This is the quartet that was formed to perform music from my work “The Plague” as well as various arrangements of cover songs and new material.  It’s thrilling for me to hear my music performed in this way and has sparked a new surge in my creative energy.  I have lots of plans for the utilization of this quartet and there’s plenty more music on the way!

The Record Lounge –

This is the studio I built in my home in Philadelphia, PA.  I record much of my music there and also produce projects for other artists in the region.  Some of the artists I have worked with recently are Hezekiah Jones, Chris Kasper, Marc Silver, Claire Wadsworth, and Chris Grunwald.

Get The Led Out –

This is a Led Zeppelin tribute band I perform with around the country.  Some of the best musicians and nicest guys I know are in this band including two of Philadelphia’s finest mastering engineers Paul Hammond and Paul Sinclair.  You can check out GTLO’s website here.

Franzschubert & The Schuubs –

This is an off-the wall, all about fun, creative and eclectic collaboration between myself and fellow Philadelphia area artist Ian Jarvis.  We’ve released two studio albums and are known for our increasingly rare, high energy live performances.  You can check out more info here.

Here’s our song “Flappa Wing” for your listening pleasure…

I like the new information and pictures. Someday I’d like to see Franzschubert and the Schuubs. Flappa Wing is a riot!
Karen and I really enjoyed the WXPN live show last week. Hezekiah Jones’ acoustic material gave me a better appreciation of his talent.
Congrats again on the news – you’ll be a fun dad, and he or she will have the best music teacher there is.
Hope to see you again soon.

Very nice website. Your passion shows in your orchestral work, and you make Get The Led Out complete! Throughout each show I’ve seen, eight times and counting, your vibe just exudes from your countenance. Saw you at the Hamilton in Washington DC tonight, and you guys really rocked the Led Zeppelin catalog! Best to you and your family, and keep up the good work!
