This Thursday April 4th at 6pm I’ll be performing a free solo concert on the Lobby Stage at The Kimmel Center for The Performing Arts as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of The Arts.  If you’re in the neighborhood, stop on by!

Then next week I’m off to Columbus, OH to present a collaborative performance with the Columbus Dance Theatre and The Carpe Diem String Quartet.  I’ve been hard at work arranging several pieces for string quartet which we’ll perform together with the dance company.  I’m especially excited about this show because one of the pieces being performed is my Siddiqah.  I’ve had a chance to see a rehearsal video of the choreography and it looks fantastic! I’m hoping there will be a video made and a way for me to share the final result with all of you…and if you, or anyone you know that might be interested, will be in Columbus on April 12th or 13th please help spread the word.

Then.. Sunday April 28th I’ll be performing with The Azrael String Quartet upstairs at the World Cafe Live.  We will be joined by a really unique and innovative group from Boston named Jaggery.  Doors are at 7pm and the show begins at 8pm.  You can find more information here.

I’m super excited to let you all know that I will be performing with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra next Thursday night the 7th of March as part of their innovative Happy Hour at the Symphony series!! We will be performing my song “Up To Here” which I arranged for the orchestra, and then I will be lending vocals to a really cool “mash up” of Brahm’s First Symphony and Radiohead’s OK computer that my friend Steve Hackman arranged and is conducting.  If anyone you know will be in the Indianapolis area next week, please let them know about this wonderful event, and if you’re going to be there I hope you’ll join us!

I’ve also added two shows in April:

Thursday April 4th – as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts I will be performing in the Lobby stage of the Kimmel Center at 6pm.

I hope you are all doing well and finding creative ways to enjoy whatever weather you’re experiencing – whether it be sledding, making snowmen, waterskiing, sun bathing, or staying inside to watch entire seasons of HBO original series.

The Azrael String Quartet and I have a show coming up next Sunday that I hope you all will join us for. If you have yet to see us perform this would be a great opportunity to catch us in an intimate venue on a brisk winter evening. We’ll be performing at Ortlieb’s Lounge in the northern liberties area of Philadelphia. You can get info by going to the Ortleib’s Website. The show starts at 7pm and doors are at 6:30pm.

I have two shows coming up in the next few weeks that I’d like to tell you about.

On Wednesday January 23rd I’ll be opening up for my friend Matt Duke during his January residency at The Tin Angel in Center City, Philadelphia.  You can get tickets and find out more info on the show by following this link.

And on Sunday evening February 17th, The Azrael Quartet and I will perform at Ortlieb’s Lounge in Northern Liberties.  The show starts at 7pm and it’s just us performing material from “The Plague”, “Siddiqah” and perhaps some brand new music as well!

Due to the looming threat of thunderstorms, the show scheduled for tonight at FDR park is going to be rescheduled.  I’ll have a new date as soon as I get confirmation from the promoters and will let you all know.

Since I can’t play any songs for you in person tonight…here’s a video of my set from a surprise appearance I made at my friend Rev TJ McGlinchey’s CD release this past winter.  I hope you enjoy it!
